Healthy Communities of Clinton County has received a grant of $28,850 from MHS Serves to enhance broadband access and promote technology literacy within the community. This funding will support the establishment of a public computer lab at their office located at 1234 Rossville Ave. in Frankfort, as well as a mobile computer lab equipped with a public Wi-Fi hotspot for community events. Additionally, the grant will facilitate the offering of free digital training programs, which will cover a range of topics from Basic Computing to AI Generation, Health Insurance, and Taxes, with each course lasting approximately 60 minutes.
Healthy Communities is actively seeking community feedback to tailor the Digital Literacy courses to best meet the needs of participants. While the courses will be held in Clinton County, everyone is welcome to join.
